SC-159 has been producing and maintaining minimum operational performance standards (MOPS) and minimum aviation system performance standards (MASPS) for aviation equipment using GPS and augmentation systems. These standards are essential for aviation equipment processing the new era of the Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS). As GNSS modernizes with new signals and constellations, SC-159’s work remains crucial in keeping equipment standards up to date.
